Anula Courtis is 340Best’s CEO and founder. She is also the architect of InfoPoint - the company’s state-of-the-art, robust platform behind 340Best’s technology-driven services. Anula draws on more than 25 years as a healthcare technology consultant where she developed strategic solutions for 340B, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), and other complex programs. Clients benefit from this expertise as she helps them navigate issues stemming from ineffective technology and processes affecting their 340B compliance, eligibility, and savings. Simultaneously, Anula is a founder and managing partner of Genex Consulting - a management consulting firm specializing in medical eligibility. Anula extends her knowledge to other companies, serving as a technical advisor on a private tech company’s Board as well as the part-time CIO for a start-up prescription benefits management company. Recently, Anula was also appointed Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Woodstock, New York. Prior to her current roles, Anula Courtis worked at McKinsey & Company.

Miles Truesdell served on the Capital Health Board of Trustees from 1988-2012, serving as Chairman from 2000-2004. He has also served on the Capital Health Foundation from 1998-2012 and served as Chairman from 2006-2012. Mr. Truesdell held a Board position with the New Jersey Hospital Association as well as on the Trenton Savings Bank, Lawrenceville, NJ. He is the 2010 Spirit of America Award recipient from the Central Jersey Council Boy Scouts of America. Miles, and his wife Judy, now reside full time in Stone Harbor where they have had a summer residence for many years. Mr. Truesdell is a graduate of Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Mr. Truesdell was Co-President of a family-owned and managed industrial distribution and manufacturers’ representative firm specializing in process control instrumentation.

Tom Hoxie is a patent attorney, with over thirty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He held a variety of positions in the parent departments of Novartis and one of its predecessor companies, Sandoz, in Switzerland and the US, including global head of IP litigation, head of the US patent and trademark department, and member of the US Executive Committee. He founded and currently manages the firm of Hoxie & Associates LLC, and he has worked with 340Best since its inception. 

José earned his law degree from the University of Texas in 1973 and worked in private practice until 1979 when he became the Director of Farmworker Policy Impact Project for the Texas Rural Legal Aid in Austin. In 1982, José became the General Counsel for the National Migrant Referral Project and, in 1983, he began his career with TACHC as General Counsel for the Texas Association of Community Health Centers where he assisted in the development of the organization before becoming the association's Executive Director in 1984.  José served as Executive Director until July 2020 when he retired.  José now serves as General Counsel for the Brownsville Community Health Center.  During his time as Executive Director, José had the pleasure of working several major pieces of legislation impacting community health centers including providing testimony for the original 340B legislation.

John has over 25 years of executive experience in proprietary postsecondary education. After serving as Senior Vice President of Florida Technical College and overseeing its growth to 4 locations and 1000 students, John founded Southern Technical College and served as its President for 12 years. Within 7 years the College had expanded to 6 locations and nearly 1300 students. In addition to being the President and Chief Operating Officer of his schools, John was also the Chairman of the Board for a postsecondary accrediting organization located in Washington D.C. Following the successful sale of his schools to a private equity group, John now serves on many different Boards and is invested in companies in the industries of education, financial technology, gaming, and health care.

Karen Ramlall-Abbott served as 340Best’s Chief Operations Officer. She was responsible for instituting tools and processes that enhance the company’s overall productivity and client impact. She is a veteran project manager from the IT, healthcare management, and general business management consulting sectors. Throughout her career, Karen has driven various product and business development initiatives while leading multi-disciplined teams. Karen, as a federal contractor with SeKON, currently serves as the Project Manager at the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC) and leads the COVID-19 Web Production Team. She worked for General Dynamics and Acentia, as a federal contractor for the CDC leading the teams designing various desktop and mobile applications for the CDC. Karen holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University and currently serves on the Board of The Ascent Project, a non-profit that ensures under-served residents in select Atlanta communities receive critical support, ensuring long-term stability and strengthening of families.

Wayne Merkelson is proud to be a legal advisor to Genex Consulting and its affiliates for the past several years. He is also a legal advisor to ZYMtronix, LLC and its affiliates since April, 2020, and a Board member of such Company since January, 2016. He currently serves as a legal advisor as well to AgBiome, LLC and its affiliates since February 2014, and as an Executive in Residence with the McGovern Family Center for Ventures in the Life Sciences for Cornell University at both the Ithaca and New York City campuses. He has been in solo private legal practice since February, 2014, and previously served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Novartis Finance Corporation from January, 1997 until January, 2014, and in a variety of legal positions both with Novartis Corporation and affiliates, Sandoz Corporation, its predecessor, and with other companies and law firms since August, 1975. He has been a member of the New York Bar since January 26, 1976.
